We are seeking a skilled, reliable full-time Painter to join our team and grow with us as we provide renovation and new construction services to clients throughout the Pioneer Valley. The Painter will provide high quality interior and exterior painting and staining services. In addition, they will also perform set-up duties on site, including covering and protecting surrounding project areas, as well as daily clean-up to ensure the project area remains clean and devoid of hazards. They will inspect work for its highest quality and work in a timely and professional manner.


Additional duties of the Painter will include (but are not limited to):

• Minor patching, taping, and sanding

• Application of textured ceilings

• Miscellaneous carpentry tasks between painting projects

• Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication

• Attend all company meetings as outlined by management

• Provide transportation of materials to job sites as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. minimum

• Inform the Project Manager of the progress of the project, including any customer concerns, problems, delays, etc.

• Be responsible for the efficient and profitable use of the company’s time, manpower, and materials on each project

• Maintain an operational personal inventory of necessary tools, safety equipment, and vehicle to perform the specific activities assigned by management

• Seek additional responsibility and guidance from company management employees as needed to enhance existing skills, learn new skills, and create potential for advancement within the company


The following skills and experiences are required for success:

• Valid driver’s license

• CORI check

• Tools and transportation

• Proven experience in paint and stain applications

• Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures

• Ability to read blueprints

• Excellent time management skills

• Effective communication skills and strong leadership abilities

• Ability to work independently or in a group


The following skills and experiences are preferred but not required:

• Lead RRP Certificate

• OSHA 10 or 30

• Mask Fitting
